The zoo created a unique habitat unlike anything in the zoological world. Three distinct areas to let their 20+ Chimpanzees function almost exactly as they do in the wild. We leaned into that freedom with a campaign concept of “Chimpanzees. Just being Chimpanzees”.

While zoos can be a complex subject, the Indianapolis Zoo stands apart as one of the few privately funded zoological societies. This unique structure allows them the freedom to direct resources toward the species and conservation initiatives that need support most—both locally and around the world.

From a marketing perspective, our primary goal is, of course, to drive ticket sales. But those transactions do more than provide an incredible guest experience; they directly fuel the Zoo’s mission and global impact. Each visit becomes part of a larger story—one that connects people to animals and helps protect wildlife worldwide.
